WARNING: I MAY GIVE SPOILERS AWAY

I thought this anime was amazing and it’s definitely my kind of show. When I first watched No Game No Life I laughed a lot, but when I re-watched this I actually laughed much more than I did on the first occasion. And I enjoyed it just as much.

What I especially like, aside from the comedy, is the type of battles that take place. I always wanted to see a battle without the use of violence of physical punch up and No Game No Life offers just that. It’s like a battle of wits and intelligence as well as the use of mind games. Everything is literally decided through games and I really, really like that kind of concept. It’s unique but very refreshing.

The battles, which are never resolved with violence, are far from boring. I find them incredibly exciting and clever. There are scenes or little dialogue quips that often indicate a victory for Blank. When I’ve watched this show for the first I was amazed at how clever these hints were and I really like how the flow of the battles and story go. I like the sort of games that were played too. You could literally play any kind of game. Chess games suits Kurumi and the word game suits Jibril as she is the playful type who likes to mess around.

The last battle of the show was just brilliant and I especially liked how everyone kept on dodging and shooting each other. They kept on cancelling each other out. I was especially pleased that Izuna ended up having fun playing against Sora and Shiro. It’s nice to see that enemies can get along. Well, to be honest, I don’t think there are any enemies that exist in this show, they’re more like challengers. Izuna is a good example. She was playing a game to keep her country’s territory but I wouldn’t say she’s an enemy as she didn’t really do anything wrong. Her fellow countrymen didn’t do anything wrong either. They cheated in games but they could get away with it because they never get caught.

I like the concept that each chess piece represents certain life races, with Inmanity being in 16th place. I think Sora and Shiro want to conquer all the races so that when they come together, they can take on Tet, aka, God. He’s a cool customer Tet but I wonder if he held himself back when he played Blank in that chess game. All the other races are cool too. I especially like the elves and Fifi, but I also like Jibril and the Flugel race. It makes me curious what the higher ranked races are like, especially the Phantasm who appear to have their own travelling planet to stay on.

The Ex Deus no doubt will be incredibly strong but so far I get the impression that they’re acting like advisors for Tet. The Phantasm look to be a formidable race too. They have their own planet/land type thing that floats and travels in the air so they must be strong.

Sora and Shiro are actually quite interesting as individuals. For two people who do not blend in society well they certainly have adapted to this game world. It’s quite interesting how Sora was able to read situations and atmosphere as well as out-witting people. If someone lacks experience in society you would have thought he’d struggle to read the atmosphere and understand how people’s minds work. Perhaps he studied psychology and observed people. There’s a difference between observing people and interacting with them.

I seriously feel sorry for Steph. Sora and Shiro completely use her and humiliate her in many ways. It went to the point where they used her name as a derogatory term. Haha. I actually think Steph is the best character in this show and I really think she’s underrated and overlooked due to being a “Steph.” Whoops, I just insulted her by accident. Haha. I think it’s pretty funny how Steph’s Granddad resembles the same King from the deck of cards. Haha. =D

If Steph never existed in this show then Sora and Shiro would never have won many battles. And if it wasn’t for her Blank would have lost to Izuna. I think deep down I knew or more like I wanted, Steph to be the one that brings Blank victory. What I also like about Steph is her over the top reactions and when she was in a love-struck mode over Sora. I could literally not stop laughing when she banged her head on the tiles to the point where her head was bleeding. I was literally crying with laughter. =D

Monster Musume Volume Six Review

Monster Musume Volume 6 Cover

I really like the anime character designs for Miia, Cerea and Papi. I think they look really cute and I actually spent the entire day illustrating Miia. Every time I read MonMusu[1]  or any other of my favourite manga, I get a big urge to draw a character or two. At this moment, I spent some time drawing Miia and I’m really pleased with its progress so far. =)

The Hunter has become the Helpless! After Kimihito helped out the self-proclaim Grim Reaper it came to light that she descended upon this “realm” for one goal in mind. Her goal is Kimihito’s life.

  1. REVIEW

WARNING: I MAY GIVE SPOILERS AWAY

The Technicolour side-story was awesome. It’s really fun to see the liminals taking part in Rachnera’s bondage play, albeit, against their will. I didn’t think it was physically possible to bind Miia’s whole body, but I was proven wrong. Of course Mero enjoyed it as she’s a masochist. It makes sense that Suu couldn’t be held in a web bind. At this moment in time I can’t see a weakness in Suu. Well, that’s not quite true, if she falls into a huge lake or water, she dies. So, that’s probably her one and only weakness.

Back on subject.

In those dialogue panels where it was narrating the action, I sort of pictured David Attenborough’s[6] voice. It’s his sort of niche so I can see him going all the way to Japan and commentate for a BBC documentary. Haha. In all seriousness though, I think David would be among the first people in the world to welcome and accept the liminals with arms open wide… not before me though!

I was really excited when the Dullahan lady made her appearance. I’ve been waiting for a Dullahan to appear for a very long time. I began to wonder what sort of character she was going to be. Was she going to be scary? Serious yet sensitive? It took me a while to figure out the things that she was saying. It was like she was speaking in modern poetry. Her speech actually added to her menacing yet beautiful appearance.

I did enjoy the comedy and bondage moments but I found that I was more focused and gripped with the whole Dullahan character. I personally think that Lala, the Dullahan, splits personality when the head is detached from the rest of the body. I think the head is the main personality and when it leaves the body the body becomes meek and defenceless. Literally.

Poor Miia. I should start a faint count. It was pretty funny when all the liminals were questioning the existence of Dullahans whether they’re real or belong in a fantasy. I don’t think any of the monster girls should question the existence of other monster girls. Haha.

It got more intense and exciting after that. Lala is going to reap Kimihito’s soul and all the monster girls were determined to save him. However… they are the ones who are causing him to be on the brink of death all the time. I burst out laughing at the part where Cerea proclaimed that she will protect Kimihito…only to punch him accidentally. That was really funny. It was also funny when Cerea was dragging him along the street whilst she was running. She was too caught up in her own thoughts to notice. Haha.

I wonder how Lala was able to catch up to Cerea so quickly. A teleport ability? I’m not sure what to make of Mero… She wanted to breed with Kimihito and have his baby before he died. That’s a bit steep. Even if it is funny. Like everyone else she was too caught up in the moment.

I did get touched when Miia offered her own life to Lala so she could be with Kimihito when he gets reaped… turns out; it was all an act on Lala’s part. Kimihito somehow recognised this and just played along with it. He related strongly to Lala’s playful attitude as he liked to dress up and play a character of his own back when he was in middle school. I wonder how serious he was when he suggested to Miia that they should get married if they “make it out alive.”

I really did enjoy the food shopping chapter. I sort of learned that a centaur’s taste buds are more sensitive than a human’s, whilst a carnivore’s taste buds, like Miia, are less sensitive. Sensitive is probably the wrong word to describe taste buds but I know what I mean and that’s all that matters. Haha. It was amusing how the story was describing Miia’s cooking problem.

I do wonder about Mero’s background. She emits a humongous aura of royalty no matter where she goes. It was very considerate of those market people to pack up their stock so they don’t offend the liminals. Mero and Papi wouldn’t really care since their cannibals and eat chickens and fish. Haha. Cerea wouldn’t eat anything flesh since she a vegetable lover. I didn’t think you could eat horse meat though, but apparently Japan sometimes sells them at market stores.

It was a really sweet gesture on Suu’s part to try and take the strain from Kimihito. However, since she is part of his family Kimihito is not prepared to give Suu any less. It was really humorous when she started to be blunt and rude after she consumed poison. I was bit surprised at first since being rude is very out of character. I didn’t expect Draco to make an appearance like that. It was a good job that Suu was by Kimihito’s side. I wonder how long Draco will have to serve her probation.

It’s great to see the M.O.N squad. I didn’t think I would see them in this volume. It was pretty comical when Kimihito shoved his face in Suu’s body. I wasn’t sure if it was out of annoyance or out of disbelief. Kimihito could have been reimbursed plenty of times but Ms Smith, being unreliable as ever, never told him this. They went to the Okayado restaurant and got banned for life after dining for a couple of days… That was pretty amusing. =D

I think Rachnera is mentally strong. When I think about it she’s probably the most mature and street wise out of all the liminal guests that live under Kimihito’s roof. She’s the most cunning too which is probably why she is able to catch Miia and co in her webs so easily. I thought that Ren girl wanted Rachnera back out of guilt, but really it seemed like she wanted her back as she feels like it’s her responsibility. She took all these “trials” she set herself whilst unintentionally insulting all the residents. Haha. In all seriousness she was treating Rachnera more like a nuisance than a house guest. She was handling the whole situation wrong. Kimihito played it very cool.

I nearly forgot that Miia, Papi and Cerea all received letters at the same time as Rachnee. I always wanted to see what their Mums were like in personality and appearance. I’m now twiddling my thumbs in anticipation. =D

The moment I picked this book up I read the whole volume in one swoop. I even went so far as to stay up half the night. So much for an early night, haha! I even re-read the whole book this evening.  The Omake Musume at the end with the sofa was great, as was the information about Lala the Dullahan. Lala’s a great addition to the MonMusu story. Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Episode Three Thoughts

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon anime

This episode had everything. I thought it was both heart-warming and exciting. This episode covers the whole of chapter six from the first Light Novel of DanMachi.[1] I was really pleased with how this whole scenario was animated. I felt it was all completely spot on.

Did anyone else enjoy the way that Bell was carrying Hestia? I know I certainly did. It’s just like Hestia to forget the bigger picture. Haha.

Before I go on I need to ask myself… Is it me or did Aiz just smile? I thought there was dust in my eye but it turns out that what I saw wasn’t dust but Aiz’s smile. I think her smile is sweet and genuine. I didn’t picture her to be a smiling type, and I certainly don’t recall her smiling in the first LN[2] book. I thought she was going to be like Saber and Ayaka Kagari in which we would never see her smile. Yet, I can happily say that I have witnessed it in this episode.

I do wonder if they could have shown Freya in more scenes. In the book it showed her more sadistic side and how twisted her mind was. I especially would have liked to see that side of her but so far we’ve only seen glimpses of what she’s really like as a person, well, Goddess. It’s not too much of a big deal as I enjoyed this episode very much.

Bell’s growth is pretty cool, and I’m not just talking about his fighting abilities. Whilst he still lacks some confidence he didn’t just run away from that silverback, he sort of lured him away from Hestia so she could be safe. He probably did give up a little bit too easily but I just bear in mind that he’s only 15. Realistically most lads of that age would be cowardly in that situation.

I like the mechanics behind his new blade, the Hestia Knife. I think Hestia had to basically write her own symbols and attach pieces of her hair into that knife in order to make the knife work for Bell. If I recall correctly, they’re called hieroglyphs.

There were parts of the epilogue of the first LN book that were animated. They were shown in still picture frames and when Bell met Hestia for the first time. I really do hope we get an OVA or a special episode which concentrates on the epilogue because I really like it. =) I didn’t know that his Granddad was killed by an unidentified monster but I did get the impression by what Bell said to Hestia that his Granddad was dead.

The fight between Bell and that silverback was cool but I especially liked the ending part of the episode. I did gasp when Hestia fainted but I secretly knew it was because she was tired, so I probably wasn’t as worried as I should have been.

It was sweet when Syr whispered to Bell that she fell in love when he beat that monster and he heard that very clearly. I think Bell, unlike most blokes, does process those little hints but he probably doesn’t over-think them. Like the part from episode one when Hestia mentioned that she wouldn’t mind living alone with Bell. I think Bell took that on board but he probably didn’t read into what she said.

Then we have the part where Bell goes into Hestia’s room and has a nice one-to-one time. He got teary and hugged her. That was a really nice moment. I especially liked it when Hestia said that she loved him. That could have been interpreted either way. However I interpret it is irrelevant as Bell’s bond with Hestia is endearing.^^/

Hestia looked good in that alternative maid outfit. Does this mean that she’s going to work for Hephaistos now? Or, was she just playing dress up? I wonder who that “supporter” was. I recognise her but I don’t know who she is yet. I’m pretty sure I’ll find out more about her in the next episode. =)

OFF-TOPIC: MONSTER MUSUME NEWS

 Monster Musume TV

The voice cast has been announced for the Monster Musume anime. Judging by the current line-up so far, it looks like they’re going with a young cast.

Sora Amamiya is going to voice Miia. Her more well-known roles probably include Akame from Akame ga Kill, Kaori Fujimiya from One Week Friends and Elizabeth Liones from The Seven Deadly Sins. I heard her briefly voicing Kaori and she sounds like she has a sweet yet clear voice. Her singing vocals sound lovely too. I wish her great luck. =D

Ari Ozawa is going to play Papi. I’m particular excited about this role as Ari played Chiyo Sakura from Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun as well as Millicas Gremory from High School DxD BorN. She portrayed Sakura as very sweet who can be very sensitive from time to time. She actually comes close to how I picture Papi’s voice to sound. I think she will be great. =)

Natsuki Aikawa is going to play the role of Cerea. She voiced Petra Ral from Attack on Titan. I quite liked Petra, she sounded like a good leader, brave, sincere and caring. I’m looking forward to hearing Natsuki voicing Cerea. =)

The producers will be Lerche and TOHO animation. I’m neutral about the staff announcements but I’m pleased that manzo is going to get involved in the music side. He was part of the music staff in the anime Is This a Zombie? and performed a duet for the ending song with Rie Yamaguchi. She performs the role as Taeko Hiramatsu in that same show.

Up until now I knew everything that was going to happen based on what I read from the Light Novel book one. I won’t have a clue what’s going to happen from episode four onwards.

However, my copy of the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon? volume 2 should come within the next couple of days. If it comes before episode 4 airs then I could read the whole book two so I can keep on top. That and I just can’t wait to get my own copy. =)

High School DxD BorN Episode One Thoughts

High School DxD Born

This show had a nice introduction when Issei was dreaming a pleasant dream involving the beautiful ladies until Raynare entered his mind. He dreamt of her once yet he seemed to be really bothered by it. That’s what happens sometimes in real life. Sometimes dreams feel real, so real that you get caught up in them and it takes a while to realise that they were just a dream. As Issei went through that traumatic experience with Yuuma I imagine it could take him a while to get over it. Then again, why is he suddenly thinking about her? There has to be a reason why she is back on the scene. His hug to Asia was sudden but cute.

Issei is one lucky chap to have so many beautiful ladies move into his house but I never anticipated that the house would undergo a change. Issei’s room looks so spacious. Haha. I think he needs a bigger bed if Rias, Asia and now Akeno are all going to sleep in the same bed as him. I like how Asia snuggled up to Issei as Rias and Akeno had a bit of a spat with each other. I didn’t anticipate Akeno appearing from the bed covers like the way she did.

Rias seems to be bothered that Issei is not calling her by her first name. Instead, he’s referring to her as her president title. Rias shouldn’t worry too much as it will only be a matter of time before he speaks her name. 🙂

Azazel’s speech to Issei about boobs was… unique and inspiring in its own way. Haha. I wonder if Issei is actually going to act upon Azazel’s suggestion in the next few episodes. He, Azazel, told Rias to stop being soft with her underlings. I can’t help but think that Rias has experienced bad luck so far. She was told that she was hesitant by Azazel, Issei is not calling her by her first name and I think she has a bit of a rivalry with Akeno.

That train ride looked pretty cool. It was a steam train as well. =D The Gremory family own a lot of buildings. I’m a bit confused about the reference to Asgard. I think the Gremory family represent the Asgard country or organisation, but it will probably become clearer to me in future episodes. =)

During that train ride Issei and co were somehow teleported away from the train and from Rias’ side. I did have some suspicions that something was up seeing as it all happened when Rias was together with Azazel. That fight with that Tannin dragon was pretty awesome. I like that dragon as a character, he looks pretty cool. I wonder how he was made into a devil though. Is this going to be unveiled at some point in the series?

What’s going to happen to Koneko? She has been acting weird lately. I naturally assumed that she was developing feelings for Issei, given the nature of this anime. However, it turns out that she has an older sister who appears to be up to no good. Perhaps the sister wants to take Koneko back and Koneko is aware of that?

The Title High School DxD “Born” is certainly interesting. The word “Born” means the birth of something, especially the birth of babies. However, in this case, I see it more as a metaphor. Perhaps someone awakens a special ability. Or, maybe, someone dies and comes back to life. I.E., someone is re-born. Maybe that’s why Issei is dreaming of Raynare. Perhaps it’s a premonition of her being re-born? I can’t see that happening but it will certainly be ground-breaking if it did. Perhaps there is no meaning behind the title “Born” and it’s just a title and nothing more than that.

I’m looking forward to more episodes. =)

Dragons Rioting Volume One Japan Manga

I just found out this morning that Yen Press have licensed the manga “Dragons Rioting”. I’ve been excited and buzzing for the whole day. I’ve been so excited that I promptly did a Capoeira work out followed by yoga cool down. =D I’ve always wondered if Seven Seas Entertainment or Yen Press will ever license Dragons Rioting. Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun is among the 11 other manga that have also been licensed by Yen Press.

I’m very excited and can’t wait for the first release of Dragons Rioting. =D

WARNING: I MAY GIVE SPOILERS AWAY

I noticed that there are quite a lot of anime these days that have “heroes” and “demon lords” as the focus of the story. These themes and settings appear to be popular with Japan. I’ve seen quite a few anime that involve heroes and demon lords such as Yusibu, The Devil is a Part-Timer and Maoyu. I thought that this show is going to similar so I didn’t really watch it straight away. Once I did, I was hooked.

Mio keeps reminding me of Rias Gremory from High School DxD. I know they’re completely different characters but I do think that their circumstances are similar. Mio is the demon lord whilst Rias is the younger sister of the current Demon King. Mio’s hair is red, Rias also has red hair. Mio has recently established a master-servant pact with Basara and Rias has sort of done that with Issei. Both of these anime have severely cheeky moments time, and it’s mostly involving Mio.

Maria was sneaky when she reversed the roles of the master-servant pact between Basara and Mio. I say sneaky but it could count as a clever plot, depending on how you look at it. From that point on Mio became Basara’s “slave” but because she didn’t kiss his hand she suddenly started to suffer from the “side effects”. Basara often has to make Mio “submit” by…well, calming her down. Or, if you look at it another way, he was satisfying her cravings. She probably wouldn’t have to go through this if Maria didn’t set up this pact by using her succubus powers. Still, it’s pretty entertaining to watch and it doesn’t happen all the time, just every now and again. =)

The master-servant pact is most unique, especially when it’s not done correctly. A tattoo of some sort of a heart with a line appears around the neck. It only appears whenever Mio is stressed and Basara must make her “submit” to calm her down and to make the tattoo disappear. Basara’s childhood friend, Yuki, didn’t want to be outdone, so she went through the exact same procedure as Mio. Talk about a healthy competition. Haha.

Moments and innuendoes but it also has a lot of exciting action. One of the fights took up an entire episode and that was good to watch.

I enjoy the fights. In my opinion the goodies, Basara and co, are strong but they always seem weak when they’re fighting their opponents. Whenever Basara squares off against Zolgia I always get the distinct impression that he will never come out on top. So, it seems like the goodies are always at a disadvantage but they manage to win either through luck or through sudden bursts of adrenaline.

I did have my suspicious about Maria from episode 8 onwards. I wasn’t sure if she was involved in some sort of blackmail or if she was acting as a double agent. It turns out that she was blackmailed into helping the enemy because her Mum was held captive. I’m glad she turned out to be part of the good side in the end. =)

I liked the ending of this show. It was rather unique. Basara left Zolgia to kill the ultimate enemy. I refer to him as the ultimate enemy as I forgot his name. Haha. I’ll probably remember once I’ve uploaded this blog. Haha. Anyway, I’m glad Zest didn’t die and I think she will probably be the next lady to undergo a master-servant pact with Basara in the next season. I think Kurumi will also undergo this master-servant pact next season. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when.

I’m really looking forward to the next season, The Testament of Sister New Devil Burst. Right at the end Jin Toujou confronts the current Demon Lord. I’m a bit gutted we didn’t see that fight, I reckon it would have been really good. Judging by the post-credit pictures at the end it looks like Basara actually fights the Demon Lord. I like his green fringe as well. Does this mean that the Demon Lord actually beats Jin? Does he actually kill him? Eep, I dread to think. I’m also interested to see what role Chisato will play. I think she is the most mysterious character of the show because she appears be very wise yet very discreet.
What I liked most about this show is the bonds between Basara and his “family.” Basara, Mio and Maria show that you don’t have to be blood related to be siblings or to be family. Now, it looks like Yuki is part of Basara’s family too. That’s a nice touch to end the series. I wonder how long it will be until Zest comes back to Basara’s house?

  1. REVIEW

WARNING: I MAY GIVE SPOILERS AWAY

This manga raised my spirits.

What I gathered by reading this is that there are a number of students and general people in this story that have a problem with self-confidence. Whilst this story is somewhat set in a fantasy, since it involves a bunch of fantasy type characters, it deals with real life problems as well. We usually worry about ourselves and self-image when we’re growing up, mostly in school and college.

We create these worries through self-doubt and over-thinking. We grow up in different ways, we act in different ways, we think in different ways. I think the main focus of this story is individuality and acceptance.

There is no one better to reassure the self-doubting students then Dr Hitomi. She is a wonderful person. She might be the school’s nurse but she heals more than just cuts and bruises. She helps her students overcome their own problems. All the students have unique monster-esque features as well, so self-acceptance does come slowly for each character.

I think Hitomi does a great job making her students feel better and it isn’t because she’s perfect, it’s because she goes through her own problems as well. She cares about her students deeply, and they appreciate her kindness and sensitive nature. I nearly said it’s because she’s human like everyone else, but I’m not sure if a human actually exists in the story, haha. Sometimes Dr Hitomi needs reassurance herself even if she is the best at reassuring and helping others. It is human nature. Saying the word “human” is probably not appropriate but there’s no other way for me to describe it. Haha.

She’s really cute as well. She might be a cyclops but I think her glossy eye is gorgeous. It’s also hard to not smile at her innocent nature, especially when she begs her dad for ice cream. I didn’t expect her Dad to be a bear, I actually thought that was her date. Haha. Who would have thought?

I just found out some very exciting news. Monster Musume is finally going to be adapted for TV. =D I don’t know much of the details so far but I do know that it’s somehow linked with Tokuma Shoten and it’s going to air at some point this summer.

I like the look of the anime art as well. I think it’s cute and it nearly matches the same art style originally portrayed by Okayado. I actually recognise the TV art style but I can’t quite put my finger on how.

For the past year or so I have been trying to guess which voice talent will portray certain characters.

When I listen to Miia, in my head, she sounds the sort of character that either Haruka Tomatsu or Kana Asumi would portray. Miia is someone who is flirtatious, affectionate but also very innocent. She reminds me a little bit of Lala from To LOVE-Ru, who is voiced by Haruka Tomatsu. So, that is probably why I hear her voice when I read Miia’s lines. Haha. I’m pretty sure either Yoko Hikasa or Marina Inoue will voice Cerea. Cerea is the type of character who is honoured bound through royalty or protection and is very strong but she also has a very awkward/innocent side.

I see Ms Smith as the mature but unreliable type. With that in mind I hear someone like Eri Kitamura portraying Ms Smith. For someone like Papi, I hear someone who is a fun-loving younger sister type. Perhaps someone like Inori Minase? Ai Kayano? For Kimihito…I don’t really have a voice for him apart from my own.

Will MonMusu just feature the first three girls, or will it feature the other girls as well? I picture Mero as someone as gentle, kind and perhaps with a bit of a masochist side. Perhaps someone like Satomi Akesaka or Azumi Asakura? I think Shizuka Itou will do a brilliant job as Rachnee. She is very good at portraying girls who are a little lustful in nature but mature in the head. A bit like Akeno from High School DxD. I can’t picture Suu’s voice very well. I constantly picture her voice as slightly monotone.

If the MON squad appear… I hear Aki Toyosaki as Tio, Kana Asumi as Zombina, Yui Horie as Manako and Rumi Okubo as Doppel.

Will the Monster Musume anime be a success? I’m not sure. On MonMusu’s official twitter page they did a fan poll asking what scenes they wouldn’t want to be “omitted.” In other words, which scenes we, the viewer, definitely want to see in the TV anime. I did raise my own questions, I must say. Why would you want to omit scenes from the manga? If anything, I would want to see some scenes extended, including when Kimihito and Miia met for the first time.

In all fairness though, it really does depend on who is producing this show and how much budget they have for the project. I know the source says that it’s going to be TV anime but will it necessarily be a TV series? I seem to think that it would, but, I’ll just wait and see what happens. =)

It might not be as good as the manga but I certainly won’t pre-judge. Even if it isn’t as good as the manga I will still support it as much as I can, however I can. I’m even prepared to buy the DVD when it comes out in Japan. There might be a bit of a language barrier, but it will still be worth it.

This news has made my day. =)

This is a really good week for me so far, and it’s not just about Monster Musume getting an anime.

I got a response from Britt Allcroft! I wrote to her last October and linked her to my Thomas blog. She responded to my message a couple of days ago to thank me for writing to her. She also told me that by reading my blog she has gained a lot of insight on how an Autistic person thinks. =)

And, finally… I’m going to be an Uncle. My brother and his partner are going to have a baby come September. I think “Uncle Ryan” has a very nice ring to it. I have nothing really more to say about this, just that my week is getting better and better. =D

Thanks for reading. =)
