Boy, that is one biiiiig mansion. Haha.
It was very generous of Lord Gremory to re-build Issei’s home in the manner that he did. I did think that it was probably a tad extreme that he wanted to turn it into a castle, but not so extreme that he was going to give Issei 50 maids. Haha. Not surprisingly, Rias rejected the idea. Perhaps she thinks that Issei is going to pay more attention to the maids than her. That will never happen, but I can understand why Rias would be worried. It’s all in her head though. 😉
Rias’ mum really is an absolute beauty and very classy in her appearance. It’s a bonus that she’s ultra-polite too, especially towards Issei. I actually thought she was going to have red hair like her daughter but it’s apparent that her hair is auburn. Despite the hair colour you can tell she is Rias’ mum. It looks like she certainly approves of Issei being her future son-in-law, judging by the things she said. I really do hope we see more of her.
It was amusing how quickly Rias told Issei that her Mum was unavailable. Haha. Before she didn’t seem so bothered about Issei wanting a harem or getting some attention from Asia but now it seems like she’s more cautious about which ladies flirt with him, even her own Mum. I really can’t see her own Mum flirting with Issei. I can see her flattering and teasing him but not flirting, she wouldn’t want to upset her own daughter. Rias is especially cautious with Akeno when it comes to ladies flirting with Issei. She looks very dashing with her hair tied back.
It’s really cool that Issei’s personal training partner is Tannin. He should get stronger in no time if he keeps it up. I wonder what Rias’ cousin is like. He seems pretty strong himself. Akeno ended up fighting her Dad and was very cold towards him. It really makes me wonder what happened in her childhood. I like the way Asia is training. I can see her healing Issei from a long distance if or when he takes part in a life-or-death battle. I’m rooting for Gasper to gain the courage and face the crowd. Little things like that can be huge things for people like Gasper and I hope he manages to overcome his fears. =)
When Issei was lying in that bed I just knew someone was going to come in and sleep next to him. I didn’t think it would be Xenovia and Asia though, I thought it was going to be Akeno. How did Xenovia manage to get in that position whilst she was sleeping? I know we all toss and turn when we sleep, myself included, but not like that. And I certainly don’t put anyone in a submission hold either. Haha.
It’s really cool to see Raiser’s sister in attendance, Ravel. I was wondering how she was going to act towards Issei, seeing as he beat her brother back in season one, but it looks like they’re on amicable terms. Ravel gave him an ornament of some kind. To me, it looks like a flash drive but I’m sure it’s some sort of family heirloom. Now that she’s free of Raiser’s peerage and she’s available… I wonder if that means that she could join Rias’ peerage? Better yet, what if she volunteers to join Issei’s peerage, if he ever gets one?
It looks like Koneko has met face to face with her sister, Kuroka. I wonder if they’re actually going to fight in the next episode. It’s intriguing that she was one of the two spiritual cat sisters, the Nekomata, and was rescued by Rias’ brother. I wonder if we will learn more about Koneko and Kuroka in the next episode?
I’m looking forward to it.
